Backcountry ski in Mae-hotaka. Not so deep snow cause of warm temp.

Kagura, Nigata

Backcountry ski. Stoping lift at the top, and took 3 hours to get to the top. usually only 1 hour. But with beautiful sky and nice view. snow was some powder and some ice.

Makihata-yama, Nigata

Ski mountaineering. It was a long way. The starting base point is 600m and the target was Nise-maki 1861m. It took about 4.5 hours. But we could not reach the top, just below 50m to the top. The weather changed to heavy wind and cold and foggy. The ski run was icy on the top and wet deep snow at the bottom.

South peak of Kirinotou, Nigata

Backcountry ski from Kagura ski field. It was very beautiful spring day and grate ski run with cone snow. From the top of the south peak, ski run was awesome with wide open slope.

Ootoomiyama, Nagano

Backcountry ski from Goryu-Toomi ski field. There was some new snow about 20 cm. But the weather was very changeable, so we could not ski down at Shirodake-sawa. There were many slope in the south of Toomi-one.

Korenge-dake, Kanayama-sawa, Nagano

Backcountry ski from Tsugaike ski field. There were new snow!! Very wide and steep entry. Great run about 1200m of vertical drop.

Tateyama , Toyama

Backcountry ski in Tateyama. It is very famous for the spring hike up ski field. Base camp was located about 2200m. We got new snow before we got there. We were very lucky to ski on the new snow!!

Hakuba-Yarigatake, Nagano

Ski mountaineering in Hakubayarigatake. There in the middle of range has the hot spring.

This is final ski in this season.
